Iona
Iona, a Celtic name meaning "From the King's Island". She is a joyful, dancing fairy that was hand-sculpted from a mixture of polymer clays over a strong wire armature. Her eyes were created before being sculpted into her head. The doll is hand-painted with Genesis heat set oil paints. Her hair is tibetan lamb's wool and is crowned with a gold-toned wreath with a butterfly and crystal accents. She also has paper roses in her hair. Her clothes are made from a vintage velvet flower and green lace accent with rose petals. There is also small porcelain roses on her bodice. Her wings are mixed media. She is mounted on a cement base and is removable from the base. It is covered with real moss. The whole fairy with the base is about 9 inches tall.
