Welcome to 2010! It has been a long but very productive year for me. I have been working on my Destiny's Garden book, which is still more than likely another year away from being finished! And that is because my efforts have been focused on my new line of Ball Jointed Dolls. It all started with Destiny doll, the main character of the book. And she took on a life of her own, becoming many different characters including Little Miss Muffet and Cinderella. I had so much fun dressing her! The dolls debuted at IDEX in Orlando the last weekend of January. Several of the dolls were purchased by different retailers. I will also be offering some of them for sale here on this website.
I will be attending several different shows this year including Knightshows Ltd. show in Asheville, NC in August. For more information on that show visit their website: www.knightshows.com. I will also be attending the Doll and Teddy Bear EXPO held by Jones Publishing in conjunction with Modern Doll Convention. The show will be in Winston Salem, NC in October. I will be offering many one-of-a-kind BJDs similar to my Cinderella. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
I am continuing in my second year as the President of The Professional Doll Makers' Art Guild. It has been such an honor to serve so many wonderful and talented artists from around the world! For more information about the Guild go to our website: www.artdollguild.com.
And last but by no means least, my 12 year old daughter, Destiny, whom the business is named after, is working on her very own line of felted animals and creations. She is self-taught just like her mother and is working on new designs to go with our line of bjds. To fine out what she is working on, visit her page here on this site. I am very proud of her and I know she has big things in store for her!
Thank you for your interest and support in making our dreams come true!
