| Jack Johnston has been a great inspiration to me and this page is dedicated to him. I was new to the whole doll making industry and when I joined the Professional Doll Makers' Art Guild, a new world was opened up to me. I attended the IDEX show in Orlando, Florida in 2006 along with 11 other members of the Guild and Jack Johnston. I had been a big fan of artists such as Silke Janas Schloesser, Diane Keeler, Marilyn Radzat, Mark Dennis and Wendy Froud. I was able to meet most of these artists and see their work. I was so overwhelmed. All of the artists were so nice and there was a sense of openess and willingness to share. Now I have been to IDEX and the Doll and Teddy Bear EXPO in Washington DC. I have met so many wonderful and talented artists. Jack Johnston was there each time to encourage all of us and devote his time to helping us manuever the doll shows. I also took Jack's Professional Class and really appreciate all of his willingness to share his talents and marketing skills with his students.
